독일의 아우디는 세계에서 가장 출력이 높은 리무진 A8 W12를 개발했다. 이 차는 정지상태에서 5.8초만에 시속 1백㎞, 14.2초 후에는 2백㎞에 도달할 수 있으며, 최고 속도는 시속 3백㎞다.
12기통 엔진으로 배기량은 6천cc, 출력은 4백20마력이며 연비는 ℓ당 6.8㎞ 이다.  2001년 6월부터 시판될 예정이며,가격은 9만8천달러 (약 1억3천만원) 선으로 알려졌다 

German Audi has developed the world's most powerful limousine, A02. The car could reach 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds and 200 kilometers after 14.2 seconds, which is a maximum speed of 300 kilometers per hour!
The 12-cylinder engine has an exhaust of 6,000 cc, a power of 420 horsepower and fuel efficiency of 6.8 kilometers per liter.  It is scheduled to go on sale in June 2001 and is known to cost 98,000 dollars (approximately 130 million won)
