국내 제작사가 판매하는 자동차중 가장 비싼 승용차는 현대자동차의 에쿠스 리무진 VL450 Gasoline  A/T (7,820만원)이다.

수입 승용차는 2억7,000만원짜리 벤츠 CL600 쿠페다. 독일 메르세데스 벤츠의 수입판매업체인 한성자동차가 2001년 4월부터 주문판매에 들어갔다. 2도어 형태의 CL600은 5,786cc 12기통 엔진을 장착, 최고출력 367마력에 최소시속 250km를 자랑한다. 몸집에 비해 날렵해 시속 100km에 도달하는 소요시간이 6.1초밖에 걸리지 않을 정도로 가속력이 좋다. '지구상에 4바퀴 달린 것 중 최고'라는 평을 들을 정도.도로 및 주행 상황에 따라 차량 높이가 자동으로 조절되고 주행 때 차체의 요동과 충격을 최소화하는 ABC(Active Body Control) 시스템을 기본으로 장착, 승차감이 부드럽다.
다음으로 비싼 차는 BMW의 고급 리무진 L7으로 2억4,900만원. 2000년 아시아ㆍ유럽정상회의(ASEM)에 의전용 차량으로도 제공되었다.

It is so agile it can only take 6.1 seconds to reach 100kmh by sleeker than its size. As you can imagine, it is the best four laps on Earth.The vehicle is equipped with an Active Body Control system that automatically adjusts to road and driving conditions and minimizes body oscillations and shocks when driving.
The next most expensive car was BMW's luxury limousine L, which was provided with a fleet of vehicles for use as a protocol at the Asia-Europe Summit Meeting (ASEM) in 2000.
