세계에서 최고 가치있는 자동차는 부가티 TYPE 41 (르와이얄)이다.
2000년판 기네스북에 등재된 기록에 의하면 1931년형 베를린 드 보이지 로얄은 1986년 미국 미시간주 앤 아버에 사는 토머스 모 내건에게 810만달러(약 10.5억)의 가격에 판매되었다는 것이 공식기록이다.

일명 "황금벌레라" '세계 최대의 로드카'로 불리는 르와이얄은 휄베이스가 보통 소형차의 길이인 4.3m나 되는 엄청난 차로, 최고속도 276km/h인 직렬 8기통12.7리터 300마력 엔진을 얹고, 차량 중량 2.5ton, 길이 6.7m(그중 본네트 길이만 2m)로 그 웅장함을 자랑했다.
또, 라지에이터위에  코끼리를 상징하는 엠블렘을 올려 차의 품위를 한층 높였다.
최초의 르와이얄은 1926년 타입 41의 프로토 타입으로 섀시넘버 41100이다. 이 차는 길이 5.4m에 이르는 4인승 컨버터블 보디가 씌워졌고 직렬 8기통 14.7리터 엔진을 얹었다.
이 차에 르와이얄이라는 이름이 붙게 된 것은 이스파노 수이자의 후원자이기도 했던 스페인의 알폰소 13세가 첫 모델을 사려고 했기 때문이다.

초기 25대를 생산할 계획이었던 르와이얄은 6대만이 세상에 나왔다. 그 중 3대는 각각 스페인 국왕, 루마니아 국왕, 벨기에 국왕에게 팔렸다. 판매가격은 롤스로이스 중 최고급차인 팬텀의 3배였다. 섀시만 2만 5천달러에 차체를 제작하는 코치워크 비용만 1만달러가 넘는 엄청난 금액 이었다.
현재 남아있는 6대는 각각 개성있는 디자인과 역사를 가지고 있어 그 가치를 측정할 수 없다. 프랑스 뮐루즈 박물관에 있는 쿠페 나폴레옹과 파크워드 리무진은 프랑스의 국보급 보물로 인정받고 있다. 독일의 산부인과 전문의 훅스 박사에게 팔려 독일 코치빌더 루드비히 바인베르거의 보디로 꾸며진 카브리올레(포드 박물관 소장)와 앙리 반델의 쿠페 드빌(하라즈 컬렉션 소장), 카로세리 케르넬의 쿠페, 베를린 드 보야쥐 등 나머지 4대는 미국에 있었다. 이 가운데 1대인 베를린 드 보야쥐가 1994년 국내 삼성그룹의 이건희회장에게 1천만달러(80억원)에 판매되어 국내에 들어와 있다고 알려져 있다.

According to a record in the 2000 Guinness Book of Records, the 1931 Berlin de BorgI Royal price was officially recorded at $ 8.08 million (approximately 10.5 billion) by Thomas Morgan of Michigan, the United States.

Called the " golden worm " and " world's biggest roadcar, " Lewayall boasted of its enormous, 3.7-meter-long, 300-liter horsepower engine.

The first Lewaila is a prototype type of 1926 type 41, with a chassis number of 41100. The car is equipped with a four-seater convertible body measuring 5.4 meters in length and has an engine running at 14.7 litres per second.

Three of them were sold to the Spanish emperor, the Romanian king and the Belgian king, respectively. The sale price was three times that of the high-end car, the Phantom. The chassis alone cost $ 25,000 to build the car, and the cost of coaching staff work alone was staggering $ 10,000.
The six remaining teams each have their own unique designs and histories, so they can not be measured in value. The Coupe Napoleon and Parkworth Limousins in Mulhouse, France are recognized as France's national treasure. Sold to Dr. Hooks, an obstetrician from Germany, Kabriole, the body of German coach Ludwig Weinberger, and Henri Vandel's Coupe de Deville, the head of the U.S. Coupe de Varnelle.
